Toussaint’s column takes the Vauxel post

VAUXEL. Habitation in the commune of the Grande Rivière du Nord. On 31 December 1793 a column of Toussaint Louverture, in the attack on the Grande Rivière against the Spaniards, took the post of Vauxel.

Rouzier tells this under the entry VAUXEL.
