The Gonaïves is handed over to Toussaint Louverture

Haitian

On 6 December 1793, the inhabitants of the Gonaïves and Colonels Caze and Paul Lafrance handed the town over to Toussaint-Louverture, who took possession of it in the name of Spain.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Gonaïves (les).
