Toussaint-Louverture drives the Spanish from a camp at Bense and burns it

On 1 January 1794, Toussaint-Louverture attacked there a camp occupied by the Spaniards, whom he drove out. This camp was given to the flames.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Bense ou Binse.
