MONT-ROUIS. River of the commune of the Arcahaie, which rises at the Trou-Archin, at the foot of the hill of Fond-Baptiste. It serves as the common boundary of the arrondissements of Port-au-Prince and of Saint Marc from its mouth to the ridge of Dubourg, and from there to the mountain of la Selle. The bridge over the Mont-Rouis river was inaugurated on Sunday 3 June 1923 in the presence of a large number of councillors of State and of the government.
