Salnave turns back in disorder at the Limon post
Haitian
There was a post near the lake of Limon, a few lieues from Las Damas on the road to Neyba. It was at this post that on 23 December 1869 Salnave, fleeing the Cacos triumphant at Port-au-Prince, and finding the arrangements so well made to bar his passage, turned back in disorder and returned to the Garnier habitation at Fond-Verrettes.
Rouzier tells this under the entry LIMON[le].
