Rigaud dies

Haitian

On 15 March 1812, Léveillé and Wagnac declared in favor of President Pétion and took General Bonnet prisoner. General Rigaud had just died on 18 September 1811, and General Borgella had succeeded him in command of the government of the South. Borgella submitted to Pétion on 14 March.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Cayes (les).
