Petits blancs and freedmen fight in the Cap
Haitian
On 4 December 1792 the petits blancs and the affranchis fought a deadly combat in the town. Dassas was killed. The affranchis, yielding to numbers, withdrew to the Fossette and finally to the Haut-du-Cap, where they entrenched themselves.
Rouzier tells this under the entry Cap-haïtien (le).
