Civil commissioners and 6,000 troops arrive at the Cap

On 17 September 1792 there arrived at the Cap the civil commissioners Southonax, Polvérel and Ailhaux with the generals Desparbès, d’Hinisdal, de Lassale and de Montesquiou-Fezensac and 6,000 men of French troops.
