Nissage Saget camps at Audouin

Haitian

Audouin. Habitation half a lieue from Port-de-Paix. On 1 June 1865, General Nissage Saget, marching against Port-de-Paix for the government of President Geffrard, encamped on this habitation, after having driven back the partisans of Salnave in two engagements: one at the Bassin-Bleu, the other at the Passe Janson on the Trois-Rivières.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Audouin.
