Nemours Pierre-Louis is born at Cap-Haïtien, a future provisional president

Joseph Nemours Pierre-Louis was born at Cap-Haïtien on 24 October 1900. A lawyer, he was Secretary of State for Justice and Cults from 1937 to 1938 and president of the Court of Cassation from 2 October 1946. He served as provisional president of Haiti from 12 December 1956 to 3 February 1957. He died in Port-au-Prince in April 1966.
