Moniteur publishes Hepburn’s report on Hinche lignite

In 1901, L. Gentil Tippenhauer published at Gotha a study on the geographical region of Hinche. Le Moniteur of 2 March 1861, 16th year, No. 13, published a report of Mr. S. E. Hepburn, geologist, to the Secretary of State for the Interior and Agriculture, François Jean-Joseph, pointing out the nonbituminous lignites of Hinche.
