Luc Grimard, poet and educator, dies

Luc Grimard died in late October 1954. A poet, novelist and educator, he edited Le Nouvelliste and taught a generation of Haitian writers. Sources differ on the day: Encyclopedia.com, following the Encyclopedia of Latin American History, gives 24 October; Haïti-Référence and Radio Vision 2000 give the 25th. This entry follows the 24th. The disagreement would be settled by a Haitian newspaper of that week, which nobody has yet put online.
