Leconte decreed 500,000 gourdes for the people of Ouanaminthe

Haitian

Even before his election to the presidency, General Cincinatus Leconte, Chief of the Executive Power, by his decree of 10 August 1911, allotted a sum of 500,000 gourdes to the inhabitants of Ouanaminthe to compensate them for the destruction of their property and of their animals by the government of Antoine Simon on 13 February 1911.

Rouzier tells this under the entry OUANAMINTHE.
