The gouffre is heard from 5 to 9 in the morning
Haitian
“12 August 1911. From 5 o’clock to 9 o’clock in the morning, under a very clear sky, the gouffre is heard, resembling successive salvos. All the detonations came from the foot of the cliff: eight kilometres as the crow flies.
Rouzier tells this under the entry SELLE (la).
