Grand-Gosier is shelled and burned

On 14 July 1889, the Rabels of Saltrou having taken up arms against the government of President Légitime in favor of the Northerners, and having been driven back upon Grand-Gosier, the bourg was raked with grapeshot by the government’s warships and burned by General Dardignac.
