Dardignac’s landing column passes the Ravine aux Diables

Haitian

RAVINE AUX DIABLE. Ravine located at Grand Goâve, where a column of the troops of the landing of General Dardignac passed on 14 July 1889, at the time of the rising of the Rabel brothers in favor of the Northerners. Dardignac cut the rebels to pieces. The waters of the Ravine au Diable flow into the Fourk.

Rouzier tells this under the entry RAVINE AUX DIABLE.
