General Rosa defeats Northern bands at Savane à Roches

On 11 October 1888, General Rosa, commanding a division of the Government troops, after two engagements fought at the Savane à Roches against the bands of insurgents of the North, commanded by Succès Grand Pierre, took numerous prisoners, among whom were Generals Théodule and Plaisirs Toussaint.
