General don Juan Sanchez dies

Many other notable persons were also buried in this Cathedral, among others General Don Juan Sanchez, victor over the French, who died on 12 February 1811, and, shortly after the union of the East with the Republic of Haiti, Bruno Blanchet, the author of the Report made to the Constituent Assembly, in 1806, by its committee on the constitution,
