Haitian
On 21 March 1796, the English army, which was surrounding the town, assaulted this fort and was repulsed with losses by the Commandant Dupuche. The garrison drove the English back and took two cannon from them. The cavalry pursued them as far as the landing place of the Bossan habitation.
