Haitian

CABARET BAYARD. A camp in the mornes of Jacmel, which a division of government troops occupied in 1883, at the time of the uprising in that town. On 1 October the commander of the division invited the Secretary of State François Manigat, of Camp Ogé, to come and visit it, and offered his coffee harvest to the government to help it buy a warship.
