Law ranks the village of Plaine du Nord as a quarter or parish

Haitian

The law of 17 October 1821 classed the village of the Plaine du Nord among the quartiers or parishes. Its church is isolated and placed 1800 toises from the place called Carrefour or Cabaret, at the morne Rouge, on the road to le Cap, and 4 lieues from le Cap.

Rouzier tells this under the entry PLAINE du NORD (la).
