Dessalines takes Saint-Louis du Sud from the Rigaudins
Haitian
History. After seizing Saint-Louis du Sud on 27 July 1800 from the Rigaudins, who made their submission to him, Dessalines, violating the armistice agreed with them, marched on Cavaillon, where he brought in his troops. Colonel Delva, who commanded there for Rigaud, abandoned the place. Dessalines continued his march on the Cayes.
Rouzier tells this under the entry Cavaillon.
