Concordat signed in Rome

Haitian

At last a Concordat, signed at Rome on 28 March 1860 between President Geffrard, represented by Mr. Pierre Faubert, and His Eminence Cardinal Antonelli, representing Pope Pius IX, put an end to a situation equally prejudicial to the State and to the Church.

Rouzier tells this under the entry HAÏTI: the general article.
