Haitian
On 21 November 1791, during the fight between the whites and the affranchis in the town of Port-au-Prince, Beauvais, obliged for lack of munitions to abandon the government palace where he was stationed, crossed the habitation Covin in good order and withdrew to the Croix-des-Bouquets.
