1788: Insurrection aboard the Ruby, bound for Grenada (voyage 18006)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Grenada in 1788, the people aboard the Ruby rose against the crew. They had been taken at Bight of Biafra and Gulf of Guinea Islands.

The record gives the numbers as: 105 people were embarked; 97 were landed; 8 died on the crossing.
