1788: Insurrection aboard the Flore, bound for Cap Français (voyage 31965)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Cap Français in 1788, the people aboard the Flore rose against the crew. They had been taken at Bight of Biafra and Gulf of Guinea Islands.

The record gives the numbers as: 164 people were embarked; 108 were landed; 56 died on the crossing.
