Chapitre II: Des Livres de Commerce (On Commercial Books)

Les livres, régulièrement tenus et conformes aux formalités prescrites art. 13, 14 et 15, seront seuls cru en justice.

Life lesson: Only properly kept and certified books are admissible as evidence — sloppy records won't be believed.
Notes: Evidentiary standard: only compliant books (Art. 13-15) admitted. Non-compliant → no evidentiary value.
