Si la preuve est acquise d'une fausse estimation faite de marchandises chargées à bord, le capitaine pourra faire estimer de nouveau, et exiger son fret sur la nouvelle estimation.

Life lesson: Lie about your cargo's value and the captain can re-appraise it and charge freight on the real amount.
Notes: Fraudulent appraisal remedy: captain may demand re-estimation + charge freight on corrected value. Anti-undervaluation protection.
