Penalties
Titre VIII: Des Délits et des Peines (Offenses and Penalties)

Tout individu qui aura estropié ou tué un animal utile à l'agriculture, ainsi qu'il est fait mention à l'article 87 du Titre VI, sera condamné à payer au propriétaire la juste valeur de l'animal, et subira en outre un mois d'emprisonnement, à moins qu'il ne l'ait tué ou estropié à son corps défendant.

Life lesson: Kill a working animal and you pay its full value plus one month in prison. Self-defense is the only excuse the law accepts.
Notes: Full restitution + 1 month imprisonment for harming agricultural animals. Self-defense exception preserved from Art. 87.
