Des Actes de Décès

Civil Administration

Life lesson: Beyond the town walls, the constable serves where the judge cannot reach — but the record still finds its way to the register.
Notes: Rural equivalent of Art. 51: the constabulary replaces the judge for body inspection and burial authorization outside towns. The constabulary certificate is then presented to the judge for the official death record — maintaining the documentary chain across Haiti's difficult terrain.
