En quelque main que passe un immeuble, sur lequel le créancier a privilège ou hypothèque inscrit, il a le droit de le suivre, pour se faire colloquer et payer suivant l'ordre de sa créance ou inscription.

Life lesson: A registered mortgage follows the property no matter who buys it — the creditor can always track it down and get paid.
