Zamor’s troops rout Théodore’s at Gonaives

Haitian

The troops of the two parties fought one another in the middle of the town. Those of Davilmar Théodore fled on 2 February 1914. Oreste Zamor remained master of the situation and was proclaimed President of Haiti.
