Toussaint attacks the English at Mirebalais; Viscount de Bruges evacuates

On 26 March 1797 Toussaint himself came to attack the English. The viscount de Bruges, who commanded there, evacuated the village before Toussaint’s arrival.

Rouzier tells this under the entry MIREBALAIS (le).
