The South forms a secessionist government under Rigaud
Haitian
The civil war between André Rigaud and Toussaint Louverture was fought out there in 1800. The latter conquered it in 15 months. The insurrection of Goman lasted 13 years there. On 3 November 1810 the South formed a secessionist government, led by Rigaud under the title of general in chief, then by General Borgella until 20 March 1812, the time at which this department, after the death of Rigaud, reunited with the republic.
Rouzier tells this under the entry SUD.
