Delva and Géléon fall back to the Miragoâne bridge on Rigaud’s summons
Haitian
On the announcement of the events that led to the secession of the South, President Pétion sent off Generals Delva and Géléon with 1,500 men for the South. Rigaud, on learning of the defection of the 1st regiment in his favor, ordered Delva and Gédéon to withdraw. They fell back on 21 November 1810 to the Pont Miragoâne. Pétion arrived at the Pont on 1 December 1810.
Rouzier tells this under the entry MIRAGOANE.
