The Haitian flag is hoisted on the walls of Santo Domingo
Haitian
On 29 December 1821 the Haitian standard was raised with transports of joy on the walls of Sto Domingo, for the union of the Eastern part with the Republic of Haiti. This noble example was soon followed by the towns of Puerto Plata, la Vega, San Juan, Neibe, Azua, Samana and all the other points of the Dominican territory.
Rouzier tells this under the entry SANTO-DOMINGO.
