The English arrive in Tiburon bay and Rigaud forces them to re-embark

Haitian

The English arrived in the bay of Tiburon on 4 September 1793; Morin Duval, a rich enslaver, at the head of 500 noirs of the Grand’Anse, and seconded by Jean Kina, a man once enslaved by Mr Larose of the Irois, whom the council of Jérémie had named colonel, were to favor the landing of the English. But Rigaud, sent from the Cayes by Polvérel, forced the English to re-embark.

Rouzier tells this under the entry TIBURON.
