Southern generals meet the President at Tremé at the end of the secession
Haitian
When Pétion learned of the secession of the South, in 1810, he sent off 1500 men of troops under the orders of General Delva, seconded by General Gédéon. Delva proceeded to the Pont de Miragoâne, and from there to the habitation Tremé; but he returned to occupy the bridge. In 1812, when this secession came to an end, the principal generals of the South came to meet the president at Tremé, on 20 March. The president conferred with General Borgella.
Rouzier tells this under the entry TRÉMÉ ou DUFRÉTEY.
