Soulouque left to attack the revolution at Saint Marc, stopped at Camp Mary and returned to the capital
Haitian
On 3 January 1859, the emperor Soulouque went to Mont-Rouis at the head of his troops to fight Geffrard, leader of the revolution that had started from the Gonaïves. The next day the emperor left this position to go and attack the revolution at Saint Marc. He stopped at Camp Mary, from where he returned to the Capital.
Rouzier tells this under the entry MONT-ROUIS.
