HAUTEURS DE CORAIL (les). Thirteenth rural section of the commune of Corail, arrondissement of the Grand’Anse. Rural school. The State owns lands there occupied by tenant farmers on the habitations: Marion 5 carreaux of land, Catherine 5, Page 1, and Gros Bassin, located in the outskirts of Corail. Siffra, the chief of the Piquets of Nippes, was arrested there in May 1870 and executed at Jérémie on the 12th.

Rouzier tells this under the entry HAUTEURS DE CORAIL (les).
