Séïde Télémaque died in Port-au-Prince and the North rose
Haitian
After the death of Seïde Télémaque at Port-au-Prince on 28 September 1888, the North rose, claiming that Seïde had been assassinated at Port-au-Prince. The provisional government first, and then that of General Légitime, sent 2 army corps to fight it. He finally triumphed thanks to his spirit of discipline.
Rouzier tells this under the entry NORD [le].
