Salomon’s presidency of Haiti ends

Under the empire of Faustin I, Saint Louis du Sud was erected into a duchy, in favor of General Salomon, who was president of Haiti from 23 October 1879 to 10 August 1888.

Rouzier tells this under the entry SAINT LOUIS DU SUD.
