Roseline Éloissaint born, future Haiti World Cup forward

Roseline Éloissaint was born on 20 February 1999. A winger who came up through the Haitian federation’s youth system, she signed for Nantes in France in 2020. In July 2023 she wore number 11 for Haiti at the Women’s World Cup in Australia — the first World Cup, men’s or women’s, that Haiti ever reached. She went into that tournament with eleven caps and five goals for her country. The team that got there did it while gangs held the roads home.
