Rigaud takes the English advance post at Moisson
Haitian
In 1794, the English had established an advanced post there. In the night of 24 to 25 December, Rigaud ordered an attack on this post. Five young Blacks, strong and intrepid, slip through the grass and approach near enough to the European sentries that they stabbed them before they had time to discharge their weapons. Rigaud took the post and put the English garrison to the sword.
Rouzier tells this under the entry MOISSON.
