Haitian

Rigaud, retreating into the South before the army of the North, defeated Dessalines at the battle of Vigil, which took place on 29 June 1800. However, unable to withstand superior numbers, Rigaud beat a retreat on 5 July; the brigade commander Ogé, wounded at Trémé, died at Vigil at the age of 28; he had performed prodigies of valor alongside Ségrettier, Boyer and Papailler at the siege of Jacmel,

Rouzier tells this under the entry VIGIL.
