Provisional government troops from Mirebalais repulsed at Boute Nègre

Haitian

BOUTE NÈGRE. Position situated in the commune of la Chapelle. In September 1902 General Antoine Malvoisin, chief of the Firministe forces of the Artibonite, made it his headquarters. On 11 September the troops of the provisional government, coming out of Mirebalais, attacked it; they were repulsed.

Rouzier tells this under the entry BOUTA.
