Port-au-Prince whites led to Croix-des-Martyrs and killed by order of Dessalines

Haitian

On 17 March 1804 the whites of Port-au-Prince who had not been killed during the night were, on the order of Dessalines, led to the Croix-des-Martyrs and sacrificed in broad daylight.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Croix-des-Martyrs (la).
