Petion’s army enters Port-au-Prince

Haitian

When President Pétion raised the siege of St Marc in 1808, he separated from his army at Lanzac and went by sea to the Arcahaie. On 21 November the Army entered Port au Prince after having passed through several ambushes of the enemy.

Rouzier tells this under the entry LANZAC.
