Pétion arrives at Grand-Harpon

During the evacuation of Jacmel, on 12 March 1800, part of the garrison, lost at night in the woods, was able to reach the Bénard habitation. From there it made its way toward the Grand-Harpon the next day, in the afternoon. Pétion, for his part, arrived at the Grand-Harpon on the 14th, at 5 o’clock in the afternoon.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Grand-Harpon (le).
