Peace treaty signed at the Damiens habitation between men of color and white colonists

On 23 October 1791 a peace treaty was signed on the habitation Damiens, in this plain, between the men of color and the white colonists, by which the latter recognized the political rights of the former.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Cul-de-Sac (le).
